I'm not going to pretend AI has no place in a content workflow - used well, it speeds up research and drafting. The difference is what surrounds it: a strategist deciding what deserves to exist, real expertise shaping the argument, and an editor making sure the final piece says something the other ten results don't.

That's also what the E-E-A-T era demands. Google wants evidence of experience and expertise; LLMs cite sources that say something distinct. What's the difference between SEO content writing and SEO copywriting?

Content writing usually means editorial - guides, articles and cluster content that build authority and capture research searches. Copywriting means persuasion - service pages, category pages and landing pages built to convert. I do both, because a site needs both to turn rankings into revenue.

Do you use AI to write content?

As a tool, sometimes; as the author, never. AI is genuinely useful for briefing content and critiquing drafts - I've said so publicly for years - but I don't let it write content out in full. Every piece is strategised, shaped and edited by a human with real SEO expertise, because content that reads like everyone else's ranks like everyone else's.

How much does SEO content writing cost?

It depends on the depth and volume you need - a technical pillar guide is a different job to a batch of category descriptions. After a look at your site and goals I'll quote a per-piece or monthly figure, and I'd rather deliver fewer pieces that rank than a content mill's output that doesn't.

Can you write in our brand voice?

Yes - that's part of the job, not an optional extra. I work from your existing materials and a short voice session, and you review early pieces closely until the voice is locked in. After that, most clients stop being able to tell which pages I wrote.

Do you also fix existing content?

Often that's where I start. Most sites have underperforming content that needs refreshing, consolidating or pruning before new content makes sense - it's usually the fastest win available, and it stops new investment repeating old mistakes.
